here it is 3 which is lower than 5 so round down to 35.49
35.49 is the answer
the last decimal IS lower than 5 so you would round down and when the number is over go up (round up) 
Now we have the number 3 which is also lower than 5 so round down to the number 35.49
that is how I got my answer.
