She will get 8 free cones. To solve this you do the following:

56 ÷ 14 = 4 (unit rate), then you add on 2 every time 14 cones are bought.

so 2 + 2 + 2 + 2= 8.

hopefully this helps

Answer:

[tex]8\ free[/tex]

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

For every [tex]14[/tex] ice-cream cones Olga buys, she gets [tex]2[/tex] free

so by proportion

Find how many free ice-cream cones will Olga get if she buys [tex]56[/tex] cones

[tex]\frac{2}{14}\frac{free}{buy}=\frac{x}{56}\frac{free}{buy}\\ \\x=56*2/14\\ \\x=8\ free[/tex]
