Depending on what region a Muslim might live in, a common celebration might be lighting up candles that will burn on all night long, as of recognizing that Muhammed was born at night. Another common celebration is eating couscous which is a common meal in the Arabian peninsula. The last common festivity is singing a mawlid song.
