We know f(x)=5x+1. Plug in f(x) in the g(x) function.
We get [tex]g(x)=2(5x+1)+5[/tex] Distribute the 2 to 5x and 1.
[tex]g(x)=10x+2+5[/tex]
Simplify to get [tex]g(x)=10x+7[/tex]
Now, we plug in -1 for x.
[tex]g(-1)=10(-1)+7[/tex]
[tex]g(-1)=-10+7[/tex]
[tex]g(-1)=-3[/tex]
