1.) Hook: What would life be like if we hadn't had the Salem Witch Trials?
2.) Elaboration: In america we had many trials in the 1690's, but the most frequent one asked is the Salem witch trials.
3.) Thesis: due to the chaotic social system of the puritans many people were accused of being witch or wizards when they were not.
