Nepal is the country with the tallest mountain peak. Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth with about 8,848 metres of height. This mountain is in the Himalayas in South Asia- the highest range of mountain in the world. The word Himalaya means "House of Snow". The mount Everest is above the death zone (there is not enough oxygen), so climbers use extra oxygen.
