I'm assuming this is for World War I or II, but either way they both created an opening for women to the work place. In world war two, the United States solely produced more than all the Axis powers combined, so this boosted their production. Obviously though, the wars both resulted in a great loss of life and tremendous suffering, so those are some hardships that resulted. Hope this was good info and it helps you! :)
