You have described a "Harvey Wallbanger". This drink is a mixture of 1oz Vodka in a cup of orange juice and float 1/2 oz of Galliano. It's kind of like the well known drink "screwdriver",containing the orange juice and vodka, but with a spike of Galliano. Hope this helped :)
