It's a form of boules. Basically each player has metal balls they must throw as close as possible to a small wooden ball. The winner is the person or team with the most points.
The score is calculated by awarding 1 point for each boule closer to the jack than your opponents boules (the wooden ball) for the person or team with the boule closest to the jack.
