the equation conatining the points would be
y=mx+b, m=slope b=y inercept
find slope

slope=(y1-y2)/(x1-x2)=(2-(-4))/(-1-5)=(6)/(-6)=-1

slope is -1
y=-1x+b

input one of the points and solve for b
2=-(-1)+b
2=1+b
subtract 1 form both sides
1=b

answer=
y=-1x+1
