A desert has water from cactuses, small lizards that could be eaten if the predator wants to eat it. What im saying is that even though deserts look like it has nothing, it actually has many things to survive.
I'm not really sure but some animals are adapted to live with no water for a long time. Some animals also eat plants that grow in the desert, or some animals eat insects or other animals to survive in the hot scorching desert
