To write equivalent expressions, we multiply all the quantites by the same number.

8x - 12 = ( 2 x 8x) - (2 x 12) = 16x - 24

Using the same method, you can write 3 equivalent expressions :

16x - 24 ; 24x - 36 ; 32x - 48
