how does south florida’s geology cause problems for miami?

Answer:

Miami is about 6ft above sea level.

Explanation:

As the earth warms and ice sheets melt, it will raise the water levels of the oceans.  Since Miami is so close to sea level, flooding could occur in lowest laying areas when the water rises high enough.
