I don't get the fraction part of the equation. also you have to distribute the equation

you have to multiply the fraction by the parenthesis and then combine like terms and so on

-1/2b-1+3b=-1
2 1/2b -1= -1
            +1  +1
2.5b=o
2.5/0=0

b=o
