x + 7 + 4x + 3 = 180
5x + 10 = 180
5x = 170

4x + 3 + x + 7 = 180

5x + 10 = 180

5x = 170

x = 34

4x + 3 = ?

4 (34) + 3 = ?

136 + 3 = 139

x + 7 = ?

(34) + 7 = 41

139 + 41 = 180

It gives you the sum of 180 degrees if they are both combined
