If this is your type of camera:
1) Use the bag. When you're not filming or shooting, keep it in it's camera bag instead of leaving it laying around.
2) Always use your lens cap.
3) Dust it, wouldn't want any foggy pictures.
4) Clean it, grease and oil can get on it easier than one would think.
5) Keep it away from food and drinks!
