         [tex]= \frac{3-[-12]}{5-0}\\\\= \frac{3+12}{5}\\\\= \frac{15}{5}\\\\= 3[/tex]

Equation: y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

            y - [-12] = 3 (x - 0)

            y + 12   = 3x

                      y = 3x - 12
