Answer:

Y=- 6

3(y-5)+2=5

multiply

3y-15+2=5

add

3y-13=5

add pos 13 to the neg 13 to

cancel it out and add +13 to 5

3y=18

divide -3 to pos 3 and 18 to cancel it out

y= -6
