1. Simplify 2/3x to 2x/3

2x/3 = 4

2. Multiply both sides by 3

2x = 4 * 3

3. Simplify 4 * 3 to 12

2x = 12

4. Divide both sides by 2

x = 12/2

5. Simplify 12/2 to 6
