Use the distance formula: sqrt((x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2)

Plug in variables:

sqrt((-3-2)^2+(5-8)^2)

sqrt((-5)^2+(-3)^2)

sqrt(25+9)

sqrt(34)
