There are 1000 grams in 1 kilogram

For example 1/2 a kilogram is 500 Grams

2500 grams is 2.5 kilograms basically you can x kilos by 1000 and divide gramms by 1000

2.5kilos x1000 = 2500 grams

2500 divide by 1000= 2.5kilos
