I would have to learn to live in a cold climate. Warmer clothes, build up inventory of food in case you are snowed in. Learn to physically tae care of self if locked in with a storm - use a wood burning stove, chop wood to fuel house and keep warm. Learn to funstion without electricity or the Internet.
