Dadaism was the genre of music that sprung out from the art movement of the same name. This movement started in Zurich, Switzerland in 1916 to express the people's anger towards the social, political, and cultural values of the early 20th century. Soon after its birth, the movement also spread in other countries in various forms such as: poetry, theater, dance, art, and music.
