what is the volume of a triangular pyramid that is 4ft tall and has a base area of 3 square feet

Volume of triangular pyramid = 1/3 * area of base *  height
                                               = 1/3*A*h

Base area = 3 square ft
Height       = 4 ft

Volume = 1/3*a*h
             = 1/3 * 3 * 4
             = 4 cubic ft
