The equation of the circle is [tex] (x+3)^2 + (y-4)^2 = -36 [/tex]

so the center is (-3,4)

Now it is translated 5 units to the left and 1 unit up.

So we subtract 5 from -3

and add 1 to 4

So we get

(-3-5 , 4+1)

(-8,5)

First option is the correct one
