The problem is as following :

What is the solutions of 2|x−1|−4= −2

===============================================

Solution:

The equation is  ⇒⇒  2|x−1|−4= −2  →   add 4 to both sides

∴ 2|x−1| -4 + 4= −2+4

∴  2|x−1|= 2  → divide over 2

∴ |x−1|= 1

According to absolute rules:

∴ x-1 = 1  or   x-1 = -1

 ∴ x = 2     or    x = 0

∴ x = {0,2}

So, the solution of the equation is {0,2}
