Many people were killed. Not only Croats and Muslims were
killed in the conflict but also Serbs as well.
Eventually, the United Nations peace keepers and United States troops were
sent to intervene and stop the Serb’s campaign of ethnic cleansing. Many Serb officers and officials were arrested
and put on trial for war crimes.
